foreign-trained pharmacist

to implement our automated

PacMed pill packaging system

for supplements and train our team. This hands-on contract role provides the potential for ongoing employment in a growing, innovative clinic.

Lifespan's private-pay healthcare model is supported by a multi-disciplinary team, including Family Physicians, Endocrinologists, Radiologists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Exercise Physiologists, Sonographers, and Dieticians -- all certified in their field.

Role Overview



You will be responsible for ensuring the

safe, accurate, and efficient packaging of supplements

, integrating the PacMed system into clinic workflows, and training staff on its use. Your work will directly improve operational efficiency and the overall patient experience.

This role is ideal for a

foreign-trained pharmacist

with strong technical and IT skills who wants to gain Canadian healthcare experience while applying their pharmacy expertise in a supplements-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities



Configure and calibrate the PacMed pill packaging machine and software for supplements. Set up inventory controls and workflow processes specific to supplements. Work with vendors and technical support to ensure proper installation and functionality. Integrate the system into existing clinic workflows and electronic records. Develop operating procedures and training materials for staff. Conduct hands-on staff training sessions for clinical and administrative personnel. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise. Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient packaging and handling of supplements.

Qualifications



Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences. Foreign-trained pharmacists are strongly encouraged to apply -- this is an excellent opportunity to gain Canadian healthcare experience. Strong IT skills and familiarity with pharmacy automation systems, EMRs, or similar technology. Experience with PacMed or similar automated packaging systems is an asset. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Able to work on-site at our North Vancouver clinic. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and hands-on in approach.

Employment Details



Contract term: Approximately 1 to 2 months (system setup and staff training period). Expected start date: flexible start within next month Compensation: $25 - 50/hr Potential for ongoing employment after successful implementation.
