```Duties```
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Label and organize medication inventory
- Perform medication inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding medications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area ```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Skills:
- Medication administration: Knowledge of proper medication administration techniques and dosage calculations.
- Medical terminology: Familiarity with medical terms, abbreviations, and symbols used in healthcare settings.
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients, including addressing their concerns and providing education on medication use.
- Hospital: Understanding of hospital pharmacy operations, including medication distribution systems and regulatory requirements.
- Pharmacy technician: Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties, such as medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
