Job Description
The position is for a pharmacy assistant for a Pharmacy in Beaverton , Ontario Job Type: Ongoing Pharmacy clerk must be considerate of the retail nature of this position, hence, they must be friendly, have good communication skills, and confidence . Experience, while an asset, is not required for this position, training will be provided. Day to day tasks would mainly involve three categories: (1) pharmaceutical-based tasks such as:
- preparing and labelling meds (including counting and processing prescriptions on the computer system)
- checking expiry dates
- answering phone calls
- greeting patients
- helping with inventory
- receiving orders & pricing merchandise
- general cleaning of shelves and pharmacy upkeep
- 8 hour shift
