Job Description

Family Health Pharmacy West is an independent pharmacy that seeking to expand. We have been part of the community for over 30 years. We are located inside the building of Windsor's West Medical Clinic.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy's computer system Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, preparing compliant packages, printing, invoices, etc. Managing patient's inquiries both in person and over the phone Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required Having a can-do attitude when tasked with responsibilities Good communicator both written and verbal Willingness to work weekends Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist on-duty

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1 year experience

as a pharmacy assistant, working in a pharmacy is an asset Experience with

Kroll

is preferred Candidate must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational, prioritization & time management skills Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills Must be able to work independently & within a very busy team environment Demonstrate ability to assist clients with concern, empathy , courtesy & respect while maintaining Adhere to all confidentiality & privacy requirements Proficient computer data entry skills Strong motivation to succeed & ability to work calmly & efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
