Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at a small town pharmacy that is focused on serving the local community. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks including assisting in dispensing medication, front store duties and providing excellent customer service to our patients. The Pharmacy Assistant will also be responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy. Attention to detail and computer skills are critical. We are open to considering full-time or part-time depending on the candidate's skill and fit.
We are open Mon-Thur 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-3pm. Closed weekends and holidays.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medication to patients Provide excellent customer service to patients Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Keep the pharmacy clean, organized and well-stocked Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting an asset Excellent customer service and communication skills Detail-oriented and organized

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
