Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant

Location: Reid Street Pharmacy, Quesnel BC

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00)

Wages negotiable upon experience

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately Manage inventory, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness in the pharmacy Answer phone calls and help customers at the counter Process prescriptions and handle point-of-sale transactions Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements Support a positive, collaborative team atmosphere
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail setting preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Comfortable with technology and pharmacy software systems (e.g. Kroll/winRX) Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
