CareRx is looking for a

Pharmacy Assistant Shipper/Packer

to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Role Accountabilities:

Ensuring accurate documentation of completed work as per policies and procedures Preparing prescriptions (gathering medications, labeling, etc) Bagging prescriptions accurately Perform end of day Reports Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards

What You Will Bring to The Team:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal communication skills, able to maintain a professional demeanor when speaking with clientele Remains calm under pressure and is able to meet tight deadlines Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated customer service experience; strong motivation to succeed Possess a positive, cooperative and team-oriented attitude Experience with KROLL an asset

Location:

This is on-site role at our Oakville Pharmacy and follows a five-day workweek.
