Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, fluency with Fillware software as well as the ability to work effectively in a clinical setting.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications and health products. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and organized. Process prescription orders, including verifying patient information and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescription refills. Stay informed about new medications, pharmacy policies, and procedures to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician is mandatory. Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices is essential. Fluency on Fillware Software Compounding experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting is essential.
