Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. This role is crucial in assisting with medication administration, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized environment for both staff and patients.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Manage inventory by ordering, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies. Provide excellent patient care by answering inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication administration. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, including cleaning and maintaining work areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital setting is preferred. Must have strong Kroll background Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals. Experience in patient care, demonstrating compassion and effective communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with medication administration processes is highly desirable.
