Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and patient interactions, contributing to a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards. Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace. Document patient information and medication records accurately.

Skills

Previous pharmacy assistant experience is a significant advantage. Must have strong Kroll background to ease data entry and filling prescriptions. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication. Ability to provide compassionate patient care and support during medication processes.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
