Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records of medication administration. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient treatment plans. Organize and maintain a clean and safe working environment within the pharmacy.

Skills

Pharmacy technician experience is a plus, providing familiarity with medication dispensing processes. Strong patient care skills to effectively communicate with patients and address their needs. Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret prescriptions and communicate with healthcare providers. Proficient in medication administration protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.
