We are looking to hire a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to help deliver health care services to our local community. Please apply today. Searching for people with positive energy and previous dispensary experience. Must have previous pharmacy experience to qualify. Parking space provided.
Responsibilities include:
Participation in daily pharmacy activities
Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
Accurate data entry and dispensing of patient and prescription information
General inquiries from patients both in store and on telephone
Communication with other health care professionals
Assist with cashier responsibilities as required
Qualifications include:
Positive, cooperative and team-oriented attitude
Excellent organizational skills
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills
Proficient computer/data entry skills
Professional demeanor and courteous
Previous experience with Kroll pharmacy software is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
