Create Compounding Pharmacy is looking for an exceptional

Pharmacy Assistant

to join our growing team! This is a mixed position - Morning in a Lab and Afternoon in a Warehouse.

We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that expanded into a new world class facility in Port Coquitlam area in October of 2022. This position is for a Pharmacy Assistant that will work with the compounding pharmacists and technicians to produce high quality compounded products. Our facility is fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and offers sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding.

Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.

We are looking for the following qualities:

Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Kroll experience in retail pharmacy an asset

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will:

Lab Department

Compounding all types non-sterile and sterile (assisting) compounds - Including but not limited to creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, injections, tablets, capsules, suppositories etc Cleaning workstation between compounding products (including dishwasher) Making sure all batched items are well stocked Milling Creams - Process compounds coming into the lab Assisting in processing compounds when needed to in Kroll Assisting in preparing orders for delivery when needed
Warehouse

Packaging deliveries according to handling requirements and storage conditions Sending deliveries through various companies Managing delivery inquiries and communicating with pharmacy staff, customers, and suppliers Ordering delivery supplies Receiving, organizing, and packing away orders Data entry and maintaining delivery records Clean workstation between compounding products Making sure all batched items are well stocked
