Pharmacy Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging and preparing medications for delivery

Prepare blister packs and support packaging operations (experience with

PACMED

and/or

PACVISION

is a strong asset) Use

Kroll Paperless

for data entry, prescription processing, and patient record maintenance Assist the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Uphold cleanliness, organization, and compliance with pharmacy regulations

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of pharmacy assistant experience is required

Software Skills:

Proficient in

Kroll

or

Kroll Paperless

; experience is needed or proficient in other pharmacy management software. Must be able to perform data entry and input prescriptions independently.

Transportation:

Must have access to a personal vehicle (no public transit available in the area)

Personal Qualities:

Very strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent communication

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Pharmacy Assistant certification is an asset
