Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Manage inventory by restocking shelves and verifying medication supplies Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims Ensure the pharmacy area adheres to safety and cleanliness standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration and patient support

Skills

Kroll knowledge is key Prior hospital experience or pharmacy technician background is preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing and record keeping Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy Basic computer skills for managing electronic health records and pharmacy systems Ability to work well within a team and follow established protocols for medication handling and patient interaction
