Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our team! As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, support pharmacists, and perform routine duties in a fast-paced environment.

As a pharmacy assistant, you main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Assist the pharmacist with preparation, packaging and distribution of prescriptions Maintain patient and drug information files Ensure that prescriptions are complete and authentic Gather all necessary information from patient and ensure completeness of information Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release Help manage pharmacy inventory Answer phone calls in a courteous manner Help customers at cash register for transactions and in finding products in store Help keep front shop area nice and clean, arrange all products on the shelf as per planograms, order new items, print shelf labels etc.
Qualifications:

Experience in pharmacy including knowledge of Kroll is required Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and math skills Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks Provide best customer service and phone courtesy Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Ontario pharmacy regulations and software Knowledge of operating cash register and taking payments
