Overview

We are seeking a

Pharmacy Assistant

for a

12-18 month maternity leave contract

. You will support daily pharmacy operations including dispensing, blister pack preparation, inventory management, and patient service at the till. Duties also include answering calls, handling opening/closing tasks, completing administrative work, and assisting with supply pick-ups. This role suits someone organized, detail-focused, and ready to contribute to a collaborative healthcare team.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9Am-5PM Occasional weekends

Duties:

Assist with the general dispensing process: creating patient profiles, filing prescriptions, counting, ringing patients up at till Assist with making blister packs Inventory management: including receiving order, counting existing inventory, ordering stock Answering and triaging phone calls Opening and closing duties: cashing out, filing Assist with other pharmacy operations as required Complete administrative tasks Work on general assistant duties such as completing pick ups of supply orders

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of previous pharmacy experience in Canada or graduate of a college pharmacy assistant program Computer proficiency with Kroll Software Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.. Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team member
