Pharmacy Assistant
Job Description
Preferably Local to town of Fort Erie, experience in a retail pharmacy is MUST , and experience with Kroll will be an asset. *Our store is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to assist the Pharmacist with prescription management and communicating with physicians\xe2\x80\x99 offices about patient medications. The successful candidate for this role will communicate with patients over the phone and in-store to address customer service issues and field questions about medications. Additionally, our Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for confirming patient information on prescription labels before disbursing medications. Responsibilities: Enter and maintain prescription data using our computer system
Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
Contact doctor\xe2\x80\x99s offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information
Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
Answer patient questions and address customer service issues when they arise
Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed.* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $16.00-$24.00 per hour Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
