We're looking for an

experienced Pharmacy Assistant with at least 3 years of pharmacy experience

to join our team at

Joe's Family Pharmacy

What We're Looking For:

3+ years experience working in a community pharmacy

Fluency with Kroll

pharmacy software Confidence in

entering prescriptions accurately and efficiently

Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge and experience running Nursing Home batches Filling prescriptions utilizing a PacMed Machine, Blister Packing, etc.

full-time - we're flexible!

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8-4 or 9-5, flexible! Supportive work environment with an experienced pharmacist and pharmacy owner

Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system
- Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of medications
- Adhere to aseptic techniques when preparing sterile products
- Assist in the maintenance of pharmacy equipment and work areas

Qualifications:

-

3+ years experience

as a pharmacy assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
