Job Description
## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of medical terminology and be familiar with pharmacy operations. It is a full time position 40-45 hours per week.
## Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering inquiries and resolving issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Help in organizing medication for pharmacist to dispense
## Experience
- Prior 1 year experience or graduation from a Pharmacy Assistant program is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with KROLL pharmacy software is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
