Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting the pharmacy team in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring the safe administration of medications.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service when handling inquiries. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
Requirements
Successful completion of a Pharmacy Assistant program is an asset. Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable. Experience with medication administration is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Pay: $17.20-$28.34 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
