Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Prior experience in hospital settings or as a pharmacy technician is highly valued. Responsibilities

Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and organization of medications Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication logs Ensure compliance with safety protocols and medical regulations Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare professionals and patients Support medication administration processes as needed, following proper procedures Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is preferred Pharmacy technician experience is advantageous but not required Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$22.25 per hour
