We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.

Responsibilities

- Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately

- Maintain pharmacy inventory by restocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates

- Assist in processing prescription orders and insurance claims

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering inquiries and offering assistance

- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards

Skills

- Proficiency in medical terminology

- Strong patient care skills

- Knowledge of medication administration procedures

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is a plus

- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations
