Location: COVID Care Clinic - Cambridge, ON

Work Type: Casual

Contract End Date: March 31, 2023

Shift: Non Union

Job Summary:

GRH pharmacists provide clinical pharmaceutical care in a Covid Care Clinic specifically supporting patients through counselling and dispensing of medications such as Paxlovid and Remdesivir . Pharmacists attend multi-disciplinary rounds, oversee therapeutic drug monitoring, provide drug information, mentor students and participate in a robust medication reconciliation program. All of our technicians are certified by the Ontario College of Pharmacists and take full responsibility for all of the distribution functions of pharmacy services. Must be comfortable working in a high risk area for COVID-19. Must be comfortable working in an atypical health setting (ie. outdoors) or a site clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Bachelor degree in Pharmacy

Current pharmacist license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, Part A

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem solving skills and demonstrated initiative

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Proven good attendance record
