Period.We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and energetic pharmacist who wants something more fulfilling than a regular community pharmacy position dispensing medication. The ideal candidate has a passion for clinical pharmacy and has great interpersonal skills.Valley Health Pharmacies' Pharmacist positions are ideal for those who want to:1. Enjoy supervising teams of people and demonstrating excellent time-management skills in order to optimize patient outcomesPrescription dispensing (regular prescriptions, narcotics, etc.) experience and Kroll software proficiency are assets.*Detailed Duties & Responsibilities: *
* Ensure standard operating procedures, policies, codes, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed,
* checking prescriptions for accuracy,
* counseling on prescription medications,
* OTC counseling,
* Supervise Pharmacy Assistants/Technicians to ensure completion and/or accuracy of work,
* Ensure billing is done correctly and in accordance with governed billing requirements,
* Supervise the ongoing follow-up and collection of third party receivables,
* Working knowledge of equipment and technology commonly used in the pharmacy environment (e.g. Kroll),
* Maintain the dispensary inventory level within the prescribed guidelines through accurate perpetual inventory records
*Candidate Qualifications: *
* Must be licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists,
* Strong clinical and business background in pharmacy,
* Strong participatory leadership and team building skills,
* Effective communication and organizational skills,
* Evidence of ongoing professional development,
* Innovative critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and problem solve,
* Demonstrated experience with organizational change and improvement initiatives,
* Demonstrated experience with strategic planning,
* Fluent with computer systems such as Kroll, POS, email, word processing, spreadsheet applications, etc.

* Strong customer/patient satisfaction orientation*Visiting retirement and group homes to conduct MedsChecks, Pharmaceutical Opinions, Vaccination services, etc.Job Type: Full-time or Part-timeRequired experience:
* Licensed Ontario Pharmacist
