Pharmacist - Independent Pharmacy ( Edmonton)

We are seeking a committed Pharmacist for a permanent opportunity at an independent pharmacy located in Edmonton. This is an excellent role for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of a community pharmacy.

Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week guaranteed)

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide expertise on proper usage Offer professional guidance on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient profiles and inventory records Monitor drug therapies for interactions, contraindications, and allergies Educate patients on medication adherence and provide ongoing support

Requirements:

Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta (in good standing) Injection Authorization and Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations Experience in patient care (community, hospital, pediatric, or acute care settings an asset) Proficient in medication administration and compounding Dependable, proactive, and able to multitask while delivering exceptional care New Graduates are welcome to apply
