Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY In accordance with written or oral instructions, operates a variety of chemical production equipment in the preparation of Semi-solid and Solid Pharmaceutical Products. SPECIFIC DUTIES \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the cleanliness and set up of equipment for each process. \xc2\xb7 Verifies weights and measures of materials for processing floor stock and D&C according to standard procedures, and to sign for same. \xc2\xb7 Watch for and report irregularities in the physical properties of the materials supplied and/or in their performance during processing. \xc2\xb7 Delivers materials by fork truck to place of production. \xc2\xb7 Processes products such as tablets, capsules, Ointment, Creams etc. \xc2\xb7 Takes samples for testing. \xc2\xb7 Dispenses raw materials required for manufacturing Rx cards. \xc2\xb7 Completes and signs for all related records as processed. \xc2\xb7 Keeps equipment and job site clean and orderly. \xc2\xb7 Operates power lift truck in and around various areas. \xc2\xb7 Inputs data to maintain raw material inventory in JDE. \xc2\xb7 May be required to work in other classifications. \xc2\xb7 May be required to work in a lower grade classification. \xc2\xb7 Review logbooks and Rx cards. \xc2\xb7 Must be required to cross train in other processes. \xc2\xb7 Initiative and ability to work with limited supervision, a self-starter. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE \xc2\xb7 Secondary School Diploma \xc2\xb7 Proficient in ability to read, write, work with basic mathematics and measuring instruments.
