PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUNDING ASSISTANT

PHARMACY COMPOUNDING ASSISTANT

not

your

typical

retail pharmacy.

We operate a

state-of-the-art facility

designed specifically to meet the regulatory and environmental requirements for compounded medications including sterile, non-sterile and hazardous/non-hazardous preparations.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a

compounding pharmacy assistant

to join our team! You will be part of a division of assistants and technicians who make custom medications to meet the specific needs of customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work in

non-sterile compounding labs

. Make

customized

medications for patients. Use compounding-specific

equipment accurately and efficiently

.

Combine chemicals

using a variety of methods.

Follow SOPs

for proper documentation of activities. Clean facilities as per

protocols.

Unpack

shipments and

pack

prescriptions for shipment.

Label

products. Support the teams with other

requested tasks as needed

.

YOU ARE

Knowledgeable or interested in learning

about non-sterile compounding and pharmaceutical calculations.

Knowledgeable or interested in learning

about Precision & Analytic Balances.

Knowledgeable or interested in learning

about the operation of Powder Containment Hoods.

Knowledgeable or interested in learning

about the use of Horizontal Flow Hoods & Biosafety Cabinets. An

effective communicator

with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptionally

organized

with strong

time management

and

problem-solving skills

. An example of how to pay

attention to detail

. Able to show demonstrated

initiative

and the

ability to work effectively with others

and within time constraints.

Physically able to stand on your feet throughout the day

. Committed to

learning and performing

the skill of making medications at the highest level of quality in the compounding field.
