Job Description


The Pharma Relations Advisor is responsible for the daily oversight of ESC\xe2\x80\x99s PLA agreements. The position is responsible for implementing PLAs for our carrier partners as well as on-going management of the terms of the agreement for our carriers. This requires that the candidate liaise with various internal stakeholders including Clinical, Finance and IT. The candidate will also be the required to produce necessary reports/insights to advise on negotiation strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret PLA opportunities for carrier partners \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for putting together savings analysis for carriers upon introduction of a new PLA.

Interface with Clinical, IT, Customer Service and Finance \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for implementation of PLAs for carriers and resolution of contract interpretation questions related to rebate agreement, including providing assistance on audit and invoicing questions.

Interface with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. Represent Rebate Contracting in meetings with Pharma when contract matters are on the agenda.

Work closely with Product Owners to review and manage PLA related enhancements to ensure that they are prioritized appropriately.

Active role in preparing PLA revenue forecasts for month end, annual plan and 3-year plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:

Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Familiarity/understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech market, manufacturers, and payers.

Familiarity with legal contracts

Ability to understand and interpret clinical review / recommendations of drugs.

Advanced MS Office skills

Solid analytical skills with a keen eye for details

Working knowledge with data analytics querying tools such as SQL and asset

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.

Experience in preparing and presenting concepts to all levels of audience.

Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

Flexibility to accept diverse responsibilities.
