Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RRespiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients, including those in acute care settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to administer medications effectively. Experience with pediatrics and hospital environments is highly desirable.
Duties
Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Perform Pulmonary Function Tests ( Full PFT, Pre and Post/ Spirometry) Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, medication administration, and home care techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist. Familiarity with pediatric respiratory care is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
