Position Overview:

We are recruiting for a Petroleum Technician to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. We provide full training to the right individual who is mechanically inclined and interested in ongoing learning.

The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario, to provide maintenance and repair services to petroleum equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations throughout Manitoba and Northern Ontario to perform maintenance and repair services on petroleum equipment. Comprehensive training will be provided. Involved with execution of petroleum transfers including materials handling. Involvement with Emergency Response and responding to spills. Work under the guidance of senior technicians. Work independently and as part of a team. Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed. Commit to learning and completing all required safety training and apply to daily duties.

Physical & Working Conditions:

Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) using proper lifting techniques. Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, exposed to varying weather conditions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High energy, self-motivated and must have a positive attitude. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Strong proficiency in basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and email communication. Must be mechanically inclined. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract. Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtime.
