We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team and provide exceptional grooming services for a variety of pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for ensuring each pet looks and feels their best while providing a positive experience for pet owners.

Responsibilities

Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare them for grooming Trimming fur, nails, and performing breed-specific cuts according to client requests Cleaning and sanitizing grooming tools and work area regularly Monitoring pets' behavior to ensure safety during grooming procedures Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and special needs Managing appointment schedules and maintaining accurate records of services provided Handling heavy lifting of pets and equipment safely and efficiently Providing excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields is preferred but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate Ability to handle pets gently yet confidently, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting of pets and equipment as needed Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming standards are met consistently Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a caring attitude toward animals Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs, including weekends or early evenings if required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
