Position Overview

This is a

multi-role position

with opportunities to provide:

Overnight Pet Sitting (house sitting in clients' homes)

Dog Walking (Group & Private Walks) - comfortable with reactive dogs

Cat & Pet Care (drop-in visits)

Occasional Dog Daycare or Training Support

This role starts as

part-time/casual

, with hours increasing as clientele builds and meet-and-greets are completed. It is a continuous hiring opportunity as our company continues to grow - interviews and applications will be accepted year-round.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and reliable care for pets, including feeding, walking, and companionship. Stay overnight in clients' homes when scheduled, following each pet's established routine. Administer medications (if required) and monitor pet health and behavior. Offer exercise, playtime, and enrichment activities to keep pets happy and stimulated. Maintain cleanliness, including waste cleanup, litter box care, and minor home upkeep (plants, mail, etc.). Communicate professionally with pet owners, providing daily updates, photos, and videos. Be punctual, dependable, and respectful in clients' homes.
Ideal Candidate

? Genuine love for animals with at least 1 year of personal or professional pet care experience
? 18 years or older with a clean background check
? Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license (non-negotiable)
? Flexible availability (overnights, daytime walks, and drop-ins as needed)
? Able to work independently and responsibly
? Comfortable handling pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities
? Pet First Aid certified (or willing to become certified through our in-team course)
? Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
