Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. You will utilize your skills with various tools and machinery to ensure effective pest control solutions while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem. Apply appropriate pest control methods and treatments using power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery as necessary. Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment plans and provide recommendations for pest prevention. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when handling chemicals and operating equipment. Stay informed about the latest pest control techniques and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.

Skills

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools relevant to pest control tasks. Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus, enhancing efficiency in various environments. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate services to clients and promote additional treatments as needed. Excellent problem-solving abilities to assess situations quickly and determine the best course of action. Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough inspections and effective treatments. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and providing clear explanations of services rendered.
