Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. A background in sales is a plus, as you will be responsible for educating clients about our services and recommending appropriate solutions.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all safety protocols and regulations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for various pest control tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about pest control practices. Educate clients on preventative measures to minimize future infestations. Stay updated on industry trends, pest behavior, and new treatment methods to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to persuade clients on the benefits of services offered. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to operate farm machinery when necessary for specific tasks. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
