We're looking for energetic group trainers with GREAT character and a thirst for learning to join our super fun team and potentially fast track to a leadership role. If this is your passion, then read on...THE POSITIONWe're looking for a well-educated fitness trainer experince to teach our semi private barbell and strength classes. You will focus on helping clients achieve their fitness goals, such as losing weight and building muscle. Your responsibilities include planning, delivering and supervising fitness classes, developing tailored training programs and advising clients on diet. As a fitness instructor, you should be passionate about your job and build a strong relationship with your clients. You should be energetic with good communication skills and a high degree of patience and empathy. Fitness instructors have to wear many hats: you should be strong enough to push clients during workouts, but also supportive enough to motivate them when they feel discouraged. Ultimately, you will set up an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment in the exercise environment.

  • - be able to work evenings, training clients at 6, 7 and 8pm (we are also looking for trainers/instructors with morning availability)

  • - have a diverse training knowledge enabling them to train clients with a variety of different goals (fat loss, muscle building, strength, functional and overall fitness). Sport specific and rehabilitation knowledge and experience will be an asset
Responsibilities:
  • Create customized fitness programs for classes to meet their goals (e.g. weight loss, building muscle, flexibility etc.).
  • Lead workouts and train small groups in strength and endurance programs.
  • Check food logs and dietary adherence of assigned clients weekly through our mobile app.
  • Teach healthy living through dietary changes and tips on exercising regularly .
  • Provide general health advice (e.g. tips on weight loss or lifestyle changes) based on scientific research or the trainer's expertise.
  • Train new employees in exercise techniques according to company standards and safety procedures.
  • Contribute to a safe environment by enforcing rules and regulations (e.g. safe lifting, stepping and stretching techniques etc.).
  • Create exercise programs based on scientific research or the trainer's expertise..
  • Light service desk & cleaning responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and complete every exercise in the workouts with perfect form
  • Able to give regressions and progressions for all exercises
  • Set up, break down, clean and store away equipment around studio floor before and/ or after classes
  • Have the knowledge and ability to correct exercise form to prevent injuries
*Qualifications
  • Must have group training experience (or show us you can be great at it)
  • 1-year minimum experience as a personal fitness trainer
  • Plenty of hours on offer. must be available on weekends
  • Character, care, and communication skills
  • Energetic and attentive
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be clear, comfortable with public speaking
  • Required to be on their feet and constantly moving while leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout
