Personal Trainer (In-Home & Gym-Based Training and On-Line Programming)



Job Summary



We're looking for a personable, reliable Personal Trainer to join our team and support our growing in-home and gym-based training services. This role includes in-home personal training, occasional in-studio sessions, and online programming/check-ins that can be completed from home.

You'll work with clients who value high-quality coaching, clear communication, and a science-based approach to strength, health, and longevity. The position begins around 10 hours per week, with strong potential to grow toward 30 + hours/week as your schedule fills. Weekend availability and at least three weekdays are required.

Key Responsibilities



In-Home Personal Training



Coach clients in their homes across Greater Victoria Deliver safe, progressive strength-training sessions with minimal equipment Adapt sessions to different spaces and client setups Build warm, professional client relationships

In-Studio Training



Support clients with in-gym sessions as scheduling requires Assist with technique sessions, progress reviews, and InBody scans Collaborate with the coaching team to deliver a consistent training experience

Online Programming & Check-Ins



Create individualized training programs using our app Provide weekly check-ins, coaching feedback, and video/voice-note support Keep clients progressing with high-quality communication and accountability Complete programming work from home on your own schedule

Requirements



Minimum 1-2 years of personal training experience

Strong understanding of strength training principles; formal education in kinesiology, sports science, or related fields is an asset Warm, confident communicator who enjoys long-term client relationships Strong organizational skills and reliability Comfortable with technology and online programming platforms

A reliable car and valid driver's license (required for in-home sessions)

Availability for weekends and at least three weekdays


Compensation



$35/hr to $70/hr, depending on experience, certifications, and service type Paid per session for in-home, in-studio, and hybrid coaching work Clear growth pathway as your client roster increases toward 20-30 hrs/week
