Since starting in 1994, we at Nu-Age Health Care have prided ourselves in providing good quality care and dependable nursing services. We are currently seeking a motived and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. Someone who speaks ( Mandarin ), for a home care client, who's main language is Mandarin in the Kitchener area.

As a team member we will except the following responsibilities

Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client's support plans Helping resident with leisure activities Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of resident Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a resident Documenting and recording daily care reports. Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory Strong organizational skills while being able to maintain high standards under pressure Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various types of patients Excellent communication skills Ability to work well as an independent collaborator and as a team Ability to comply with standard policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Ability to use computer programs to keep accurate records and documentation Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Must have all documents current including, Personal Support worker diploma, CPR, vulnerable sector check ,GPA certificate , N95 mask fit, immunizations , TB, covid-19 vaccinations, CPR . We also will require 2 references , and a Photo ID .
