We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Mandarin Speaking Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in case management and care planning for clients.

Skills

Experience in nursing homes or senior care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and dementia care is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices. Previous experience in home care or assisted living environments is beneficial. Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a safe environment for clients. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
