Position: Personal Support Worker - Vanier Homecare - Part-time
Location: Vanier
Salary: $23 per hour
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, weekends

Alternacare is currently recruiting qualified Personal Support Workers to work weekends with home care clients in the Vanier and East end community. Weekday opportunities will be available as well! The clients live independently but need a little extra help during the day to stay in their home and keep their independence. They need social interaction as well as care and assistance! Access to a car would make appointments easier for you, but using public transportation works fine too!

Hours of Work:

- Shifts available on weekends. Other possibilities during the week as well!

Required Qualifications and Documentation:

- PSW certificate - mandatory
- 1 year of experience working as a PSW
- Excellent English communication skills, French is an asset
- Valid police records check (vulnerable sector)
- Valid and current CPR
- Up-to-date immunizations (Covid, TB, hepatitis B, MMR, varicella, tetanus, diphtheria)
- Ability to work independently
- Access to a vehicle and/or public transit
