Personal Support Worker

I am seeking a young, enthusiastic, creative, dependable person to provide support for myself. I have Muscular Dystrophy and I'm in a wheelchair attending university.

You will be required to assist me with daily personal care needs (dressing, toileting, bathing, etc.) including transfers to and from wheelchair and sleepovers. Training will be provided.

Job Requirements

Fluent in English Proof of COVID-19 vaccination Drive to work (Drivers' license) Recent vulnerable sector police check Experience with people with disabilities an asset
Salary: $23.00 per hour (payment through Direct Funding program Ontario)

Pay / Hours of Employment

Upto 30 hours per week Day shifts - 1.5-2 hour mornings (from 7-8:30 am) 3 days a week @ full hourly rate Night shifts - 0.5 hour (from 10:00 - 10:30 pm) 3 days a week @ full hourly Overnight shifts - 7.5 hrs from Mon to Friday (10:30 pm - 6 am) 2-3 nights a week @ $19.00 per hour
