Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and support.

Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Providing patient care and support for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses Engaging in meaningful conversations and companionship to promote emotional well-being Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring compliance with care plans Preparing nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Supporting clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary Offering specialized care for individuals with dementia or those in hospice care

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred Knowledge of caregiving best practices and patient care techniques Familiarity with home care services and working with people with disabilities Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a hygienic environment Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
