Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Support Worker to assist a male client in their activities of daily living

in a home setting in Thornhill area (Steeles and Bayview).

Scope and Responsibilities

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Handle client weight and perform manual transfers Monitoring and reporting client condition to the Client Care Department Providing emotional support, mental stimulation, and meaningful companionship

Schedule

12 hours (day shift or night shift) 4-5 days a week

Minimum Qualifications

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Diploma from an accredited institution NACC certificate if credentials were obtained from a private career college Has a valid First Aid and CPR certificate Has a valid Mask Fit certificate Has the basic skills and knowledge in caregiving such as personal care techniques, infection control, and basic medical terms Working knowledge of spoken and written English
