Required:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• PSW Certificate
• Previous experience in a health-related setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Tact, discretion and team skills
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history is a requirement

Preferred:

• Experience in Complex Continuing Care setting and/or Long Term Care setting

Assets:

• Knowledge of Patient Bill of Rights
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• GPA or equivalent training
• UFirst Training
• Bilingual - English and French

Mainly call in and vacation relief. Required to provide availability for a minimum of six (6) shifts per month. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the SEIU collective agreement.
