Job Description
Job Title: PSW Instructor (Online) - 10+ Years of Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced
Personal Support Worker (PSW) Instructor
to teach our online program. The ideal candidate has extensive field experience and meets the instructor requirements outlined by Ontario's Ministry of Colleges and Universities for vocational programs.Responsibilities
Teach PSW theory courses online following the approved curriculum. Support and mentor students throughout the program. Ensure course delivery meets Ministry and program standards. Use adult-education methods to engage students effectively.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of combined PSW work or teaching experience
within the last 10 years(
10+ years of total experience strongly preferred
).Must be
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
in good standing with theCollege of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
. Strong knowledge of PSW competencies, long-term care, community care, and healthcare practices in Ontario. Ability to use online teaching tools (Zoom/Teams, LMS, digital platforms). ClearVulnerable Sector/Police Check
