Position Overview
The Personal Lines Insurance Broker is responsible for developing client relationships and providing customized insurance solutions. This role involves assessing risks, researching policy options, negotiating with underwriters, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service an established Personal Lines portfolio.
Conduct client consultations to assess coverage needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare quotes, process policy changes, and oversee renewals with a high level of accuracy.
Communicate with underwriters to secure suitable terms and maintain strong insurer relationships.
Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the policy and claims process.
Maintain detailed and compliant documentation within brokerage management systems.
Contribute to a professional and supportive office environment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Personal Lines insurance and a solid understanding of Saskatchewan's insurance market is strongly valued.
Saskatchewan insurance license (Level 1) or eligibility to obtain.
Strong product knowledge across home, auto, tenant, seasonal, and rental insurance.
Proficiency with insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
CAIB or CIP coursework or designation considered an asset.
Excellent communication, organization, and client-service skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
A valid driver's license is required.
Work Environment
This role is based in our Saskatoon office and requires in-person attendance. Occasional travel for client meetings or industry events may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
