The Opportunity:


Schill Insurance - Ocean Park is on the lookout for an exceptional Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team! In this role, you'll provide outstanding service to our valued clients--whether they're visiting in person or connecting by phone. You'll handle a wide range of personal lines insurance needs and offer support with ICBC/Autoplan transactions as needed.


We're looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, a strong team player, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.


Schedule: 5 days a week. Hours are Monday to Friday either 8:30am to 4:30pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm and a rotating Saturday shift twice a month.

About the Role:


As a Personal Lines Insurance Broker at Schill Insurance, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while supporting the overall success of the branch. Your responsibilities will include:


Engage with clients to determine their needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them

Maintain and manage a book of business and strong client relationships through proactive contact via phone, letter, and email

Develop new business opportunities by securing expiry dates and cross-selling personal lines products

Manage and process renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention

Provide ICBC/Autoplan support as needed, including walk-in and scheduled transactions

Stay current on industry trends and underwriting guidelines to ensure accurate and relevant advice

Collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and foster a positive, supportive work environment

Ensure accuracy and compliance in all client documentation and processing

Utilize brokerage management systems to efficiently document interactions and manage policy information

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills

About You:


Minimum 2 years experience selling Person Lines Insurance

Insurance Broker level 1 license (level 2 is an asset)

Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun on the job

Desire to learn and help support a team

Strong organization, prioritization, time management skills and attention to detail

Ability to work well independently and with others throughout the organization

Keen attention to detail and an ability to effectively and proactively prioritize duties and multitask

Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
