The Group Insurance Manager will have accountability for the overall operational performance, and ongoing growth and development of the broekrage's practise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Associate Brokers with the design, sale and implementation of group auto & home insurance programs

- Work with existing groups to increase penetration/participation

- Develop, implement and administer marketing programs for groups (advertising, contests/giveaways)

- Coordinate brokerage participation in group client events - trade shows, conferences, etc.

- Day to day administrative work with group clients in a "Coordinator" capacity

- Act as brokerage liaison with group insurance markets

- Act as in house underwriter for group auto/home submissions/applications

- Quote and bind new business applications

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in the design, sale & implementation of group auto and home insurance programs

- RIBO licensed

- CAIB or CIP designation preferred

- Excellent presentation skills

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Sales experience preferred due to job parameters

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Familiarity with all major group insurance markets (Waterloo, Novex, Traders)

- Familiarity with Powerbroker BMS

- Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
