Trigon Insurance is looking for a Personal Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team! If you're team oriented, customer service focused and enjoy a fast paced work environment, we'd love to hear from you!Job OverviewThe purpose of this role is to provide quality, responsive day-to-day client service. The Personal Insurance Broker must be well organized, possess the ability to prioritize workflow in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients.Responsibilities and Duties

• Assessing the clients' individual needs and obtaining quotes;
• Comparing the coverage of different insurers to get the client the best rates and conditions in an unbiased manner and making recommendations;
• Searching for opportunities to reduce overall premiums by combining different types of insurance for discounts and identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities;
• Explaining premiums, terms, conditions and any small print that the client does not understand;
• Providing advice and revisions at policy renewal or mid-term if material changes are necessary, such as a move or the sale of an asset;
• Being available to answer questions after purchase and responding to all client inquiries in a timely manner;
• Ensuring claims are handled fairly. Helping the client through the claims process and ensuring a fair and speedy settlement.

Qualifications

• Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) License required;
• Comprehensive and effective verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision in a team environment;
• Strong emphasis on a positive team dynamic;
• Excellent time management and organization skills;
• High attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects and deadlines.
