Do you have a passion for litigation, and proper punctuation and grammar? Do you have exceptional organizational skills and enjoy helping people? Do you have at least 5 years of experience in the Personal Injury field? Are you considered the problem solver, or fixer, in your current role? Responsibilities



Assist lawyers with legal drafting, including pleadings, applications and trial preparation Use Cosmolex to manage deadlines and calendar events Keep electronic and paper files up to date and organized Direct contct with clients and witnesses Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court requirements Coordinate schedules for Questionings, mediations, court appearances, and meetings Maintain effective communication with clients, other counsel, and the courts etiquette Summarizing medical records FIling court documents Arranging medical assessments Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion of tasks

Requirements



Legal Assistant or paralegal certifications Proven experience as a litigation legal assistant,paralegal or in a similar administrative role within a legal environment Knowledge of litigation processes and procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Proficiency in legal research and writing Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for drafting legal documents Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing and document management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exemplary organizational skills Familiarity with medical terms Attention to detail and solid grammar skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients and witnesses Experience with case management software Expert level Adobe, WOrd and Excel skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
